Go here. Just go try it. It is amazing. I thought I knew what Gelatto was...I did not. Prepare to have your taste buds educated. Amazing.

Wow! I figured I was just going for ice cream. I was astonished at what I experienced. The gelato was absolutely incredible. Made by the proprietor, it was just delicious. The owner knew his product like you wouldn’t believe including where all ingredients came from —he’s clearly extremely passionate about his business. The staff are very friendly and polite, tons of parking outside. Highly recommend —awesome spot!

The store was hard to find being new to the area. Cute building, clean, and friendly service. I don’t feel like it tasted like gelato that I’ve had before it was more like ice cream texture. Sizes are perfect!

The most delicious gelato in all of Charlotte!!!

My wife and I try to stop here whenever we go shopping in Park Road Shopping Center. All their gelato is made from imported Italian ingredients and fresh local produce. Even their milk is locally sourced. Because they shop for seasonal ingredients they alsways have rotating flavors. We have.loved everything we have tried. Would highly recommend stopping in before or after shopping.

This is by far my favorite gelato place when it comes to the actual taste of it. The overall experience is very uncomfortable though, because every time I've been here the owner has stressed to me and other customers his very unusual and strict rules. You aren't allowed to use the bathroom or use your phone inside the the small dining room area and when you go outside you are always being watched. I love the gelato here and it is great to see that the owner is passionate about what he does so I will continue coming and I don't have a problem respecting their rules but some of them are just too strange. Everyone has a smartphone and I feel like using it should be allowed. I also like that all the ingredients are fresh or imported from reputable sources but the "expensive Italian spoons" are a little bit inconvenient for people who have never been and would like to try more than one flavor.

What a fantastic place! My blood orange sorbet was awesome and my wife's gelato was better than anything she had in Italy! The owner brings in his ingredients straight from Italy and is made fresh in small batches. I highly recommend this "hidden gem".UPDATE: I've been back more than two dozen times and the coconut sorbet is AMAZING. Everyone I bring here loves the gelato and sorbet. Can't wait for my next visit!

Today was my first time at Va Da Vie Gelato. I got the Vanilla and Banana Gelato. It was so delicious and reminded me so much of home! My mother used to make the best creamy homemade banana ice cream. I thought of her with every scoop. Miss you mommy. ❤Thank you Va Da Vie Gelato, for the delicious treat!

Absolutely superb! The coconut is amazing with crunchy perfectly toasted flakes inside and the blood orange is imported from Italy. A heavenly treat.

Excellent place to get a gelato

I gave it 3 stars because is too expensive for what you get, in means of quantity. I'm Italian and quality of it is good, close to the gelato we have in italy , but in Italy with 3 euros about $4.50 you get a huge cone with 3 flavors, here in this place with $5.00 a small cup that I finished in 3 bites. So thats my only opinion. Staff is very nice and polite, that's always a plus.

John and Wendy are the best. Each batch is made with only the best ingredients and to perfection each time. There are staple flavors and seasonal. And if you don’t do well with dairy, they have sorbet. Rain or shine, hot or cold, this is the place to be.

This place is simply wonderful. The flavors are unique and delicious and very high quality. You can tell the owner is very passionate about gelato because he always gives background on the flavors, schedules and ingredients. Today I was recommended the pear to side with my chai spice. It was so good I had to post. 🙌🏻

The environment felt uncomfortable and it felt like the staff were staring at me. The gelato was okay, but it made me angry because they got rid of the large size.

This place is delicious! This is the second time we’ve eaten gelato here and it’s amazing. It’s very creamy and hits the spot. The pistachio and banana are both fantastic. We highly recommend!!!

This is legit some of the best gelato I have had in my life. The only place that compares is this place in southern Manhattan. If you are in the area then go here. You will not be disappointed.
